Expect to find Chardonnay, Viognier, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz at the cellar doors of the boutique QLD wineries. The south east corner of the state is proving to be the most successful with vines planted over 700 metres above sea level give a not to dissimilar temperatures to that of its southerly neighbours.
