Under the Banner of Barossa comes the warm region of the Barossa Valley and the cool region of Eden Valley, nestled right by its side.
This provides an interesting proposition where you can sample some big juicy Shiraz and Cabernet as well as elegant slow ripening Chardonnays and Rieslings.
The long history of the region and the well-deserved reputation for producing world famous wines make Barossa a destination for any wine loving feign, and if you were to attempt to visit all the wineries then you will certainly need the stamina of a marathon runner plus more.
A diverse range of wines can be found from the big, bold reds, to cool climate wines as well as some excellent fortifieds.
