The Clare Valley is a little further away from Adelaide compared to some of the other regions but the easy drive will reward immensely, as the very picturesque Clare Valley dotted with small villages produce world-class wines.
Old stone buildings add to the charm to this terrific region that has decided the best way to live life is in a slower more romantic way.
Most well known for producing some of the country’s best Rieslings, you will find a lot more to the region including some wonderful Shiraz.
The old rail route that follows the long valley has been transformed into the Riesling Trail and is perfect for cycling. (With of course several stop allowances for winery visits)
Reconnect with nature over a glass of fine wine from any of the 30 plus winery cellar doors of the Clare Valley.
